The principle

We take accuracy seriously and correct errors openly. Anyone can report a suspected error, whether in a calculator’s method, an explanation, a source reference or a broken link.

How to report an error

Email contact@nhs-calculator.co.uk with the page URL, what you believe is wrong, and — if possible — the correct information with its source. We confirm receipt within five working days.

What happens next

Reported errors are checked against the authoritative source. If confirmed, material errors are corrected promptly — and, where the change affects a calculator result, the calculator is re-verified and kept unpublished until that is complete. Minor typographical errors are fixed in the normal editing cycle. Significant corrections are noted on the affected page.
